12 straight hours of rain. No let up whatever. The ground is soaked and soggy and I wonder how much more it can absorb. We almost had another stuck RV this afternoon but thankfully I was able to get to him and share with him what happened in the field yesterday. In the end, we did find a way to get his trailer backed in to his spot without any issues. All’s well that ends well.
No real blog tonight since I’m in the midst of putting furniture together. We got the call that the table and chairs were in. They were nice enough to bring them over. A bit too big to put into Little Graybeard. But they are here and now it is time to assemble them.

So this time I decided to really read the instructions before I got started. Here we go.

One chair finished.

Two chairs done.

And a table in waiting.

OK, time now to get back to the table. It sure isn’t going to put itself together so I need to get to it. Let you know tomorrow what the whole set looks like. We also have our slip covers and they look nice. Slowly things are beginning to come together.
So for tonight I’ll say goodnight. And I’ll leave you with this thought to ponder:

As always, if you are coming to the end of your day with concerns and worries, let me suggest that you turn them over to God. After all, He is going to be up all night so why not let him handle them for you.
Time now for our evening prayers and eventually some shut-eye. Till tomorrow.
These are the voyages of Graybeard and it’s occupants, four paws and two humans. Our continuing mission: to explore as many new states as possible, to seek out new acquaintances and make new friends, to boldly go where we have not been before
Chairs look great! Look forward to seeing the table.
