Yea, Yea they were again calling for rain most of Sunday.  You know how many times they have been wrong?

Not this time!  We awoke to thunder rolling across the park and then the skies opened up.

You needed boots just to get off our front step.

And a canoe to navigate our site.  Thankfully, it all drains rather quickly once the rain finally stops.

Ah well, it was time for worship so we weren’t going out for awhile.

Today was hymn sing Sunday.

They had video clips of some of our younger members singing He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands.

Just a few of the songs we sang this morning.  I so enjoy listening to my sweetheart singing as we sit together during worship.

Once worship was over it was time for lunch.

After lunch we had an S & P Party.

As in Spirits and Pretzels! 

During which time we also played a marathon game of Mexican Train.

Which was followed by another Movie Marathon.  Yup, we can always find something to do.

That was our day on The Road of Retirement.  We turned a wet, soggy day into one of fun and games.  We continue to travel along, hand in hand, singing our song and enjoying one another’s company.  What more could one ask for.  It is a great life that we lead.
