How Low Can You Go
And They Said It Would Never Last
Another Round of Doctor Appointments
Goooooooooooooood Morning World!
How low can you go? Hey folks, this is Florida and that is where I though I parked Elvira. Yet, when you wake up in the morning and it is 29 degrees outside you begin to wonder if somehow after you went to sleep someone picked you up and dropped you off in Wisconsin.
The worse of it is we’re still working out what works in terms of keeping Elvira warm throughout the night. In Graybeard we had it down to a science. But now we have so much more room so we’re still experimenting with what combination of heaters to use.
Excuse me, time to go put another log on the fire and bask in in the warmth of its glow.
And some said it would never last. Yet here we are 37 years later and still in love. It’s been an exciting journey filled with so many memorable moments. Along the way there have been hills to climb and rivers to cross, and some days we just shook our heads and wondered why, but looking back we hold hands and just smile knowing that the jouney has been worth every mile.
So how did we spend our special day? Well, when you’re getting to our age it usually means yet another round of doctor appointments. Ms Barbara had one in the morning and the afternoon. I had one in the afternoon as well.
Ah, but yes we did go out for supper. Sort of. We picked up Chinese and brought it home. Can’t be too careful about where you go out to eat these days. Elvira, however is as safe as safe can be.
That was our day on The Road of Retirement. A special day indeed. Another day spent together traveling along, hand in hand, singing our song. Thank you Lord for this special lady that is my wife. She is my light, my life, my love.
Thanks again for stopping by today We always appreciate your company, and your comments and suggestions. Keep safe, keep healthy, live to the fullest the days that God gives you.
These are the voyages of Elvira and her two intrepid travelers. Our continuing mission: to explore as many new states as possible, to seek out new acquaintances and make new friends, to boldly go where we have never been before.
See you on down the road!
Happy Anniversary!! Yikes, 29°? Looks like you’re retaining a good inside temp. Stay safe.

Happy Anniversary! Your prayer of thanks for your wife is very sweet. I hope the Chinese was delicious! Hopefully, that 29 degrees is a fluke and won’t happen too often. Stay warm, and enjoy your day!

Thank you. Well, the 29 degrees this early is a fluke. But, they’re telling us more low 30’s are in store by the middle of the month. We’re learning how to keep warm that is for sure.
