The Best Laid Plans of Mice and Men Sometime Go Astray
Oh yea I bounced out of bed this morning because today was the day – Kennedy Space Center. I had been waiting for this for months. I was just about jumping out of my shoes with anticipation. Well, as they say the best laid plans of mice and men sometime go astray. Barbara had a bad night last night and was not really up to a full day of sightseeing so our trip was postponed.
However, we did do some sightseeing but a full report will have to wait until tomorrow or Friday. Just to let you know, the places we visited today were the:
- The Veterans Museum
- The Exploration Tower
- The Police Hall of Fame and Museum
The later part of the afternoon, though, was spent at Urgent Care where a doctor finally agreed to give my sweetie a prescription for her Insulin which she had run out of. She just got insurance as of April 1st hence we could not do anything until after Monday. Our next stop was to CVS to fill the prescription but we struck out and will have to wait for it until tomorrow.
Bottom line we did not get home until 9 pm and I am absolutely beat and ready to just lay my head down. Hopefully, tomorrow we will make it to Kennedy, again this will be based on what kind of night Barbara has tonight. Stay tuned.
I’m going to say goodnight now and God speed to each of you. Stick with us and I’ll eventually get everything caught up by Friday night.
These are the voyages of Graybeard and it’s occupants, four paws and two humans. Our continuing mission: to explore as many new states as possible, to seek out new acquaintances and make new friends, to boldly go where we have not been before
See you on down the road
Sorry to hear that Barbara isn’t feeling well. Hoping today will be better. Kennedy Space Center will be there tomorrow and hope Barbara will be able to enjoy it also. Prayers🙏🙏
