Nope It Is Not Fixed

Let me just say this It still leaks. What else I have to say is not fit to print.
Not only does it leak, so does the drain pain underneath it.
The rug in our bedroom is soaked – again.
Furthermore, they put it back in in such a way that you can never tighten the screw on the dryer vent hose in the back.
Want me to keep going? I can.
OK, Lazydays says it is under warranty for thirty days.
BUT
They may be able to get us back in around Dec 28/29. Really. I would think we should go to the head of the line since they screwed up. Just goes to show you, though I checked reviews and found them to be favorable, though I thought in my heart of hearts we had a compentent tech leading the charge. I was wrong on all counts.
Will they make good? I believe they’ll probably try to stall us until we get fed up and go away. Oh, but will I ever make a racket in their waiting room the days that I will be there in the future. Then, yes, I’ll go away and find someone who will really be able to correct the issue. Never to return again.
Sorry for the rant. I’m bummed out. All I want is Ms. Barbara to be able to do her laundry in Elvira far away from all the COVID-19 madness in this world.
That is where we are at on The Road of Retirement. Yes, this too shall pass. It will eventually get straightened out. It’s only money.

Oh, that is terrible!!! I am so sorry you are having to deal with this. Situations like this are sooo aggravating! Good luck, and I hope you can get to a resolution soon.

One other thought, for what’s it worth. I have heard it said when something happens like this to get active on social media. (My hero, Clark Howard, talks about this.) The idea is that companies see it and will respond more quickly. I have never tried this; although, I have mentioned that I have a blog – like when I’m taking pictures of where we are. You could also post on their Facebook page, related groups page or put out your own review stating the facts of your case. I have facebook, but I don’t do a lot with it. In any case, good luck!

Didn’t they try it before sending you away? There are competent people out there, you must just find them. Check with fellow campers or the office you may have luck there. Unfortunately reviews can be written by anyone and we have no idea if these are true unsolicited reviews. You say “it’s only money” but those working on a tighter budget can’t say that. They can’t afford to be taken advantage of. Hope you find someone. Stay safe.

The fault is mine. When we returned from the doctors it was after 4pm. We debated as to whether to stay or return to our site. The work order stated everything was tested and no leaks found. In hindsight I should have stayed that night and run the washer. But we didn’t. We wanted to get home before dark. My mistake and now we’re in the mess we’re in. The phrase “it’s only money” is a joke between my sister and myself. Believe me money is tight here. I also checked with several people about Lazydays and no one had a bad word to say. I’m now looking and asking again but being a lot more careful. I would love to discover someone I could really trust.
