Local Car Show
Out and about yesterday we came across this local car show.
Following, in no special order, are some of the cars that were there.

Any one remember when these were touted as the salvation for Studebaker? Unfortunately, it didn’t go quite as planned.

A fully restored early Dodge pickup. The owner stated that when he first found it, a tree was growing up through the bed in the back!

1960 Ford Falcon. Though it is hard to see, this is actually a four door car.

1940 Willys. Blown big block Chevy for power.

1930 five window Ford.

1965 Ford Twin Turbo Daytona Cobra.

1933 Plymouth with a 1958 Chrysler Hemi for power.

1933 Ford Pickup with a tried and true flathead V8.

1932 Ford Highboy Roadster.

Mid 60’s Volkswagen Hot Rod. The owner stated it sits on a custom made tube frame chassis.
Finally, the weird and wacky.

Yes, it is an actual boat mounted on a Ford van chassis. But no, it doesn’t float!
All in all it was a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours out in the fresh air. We’re glad we stumbled upon it while out doing errands.
Thanks for taking the time to read our blog. We always appreciate your company, your comments, and your suggestions. Remember, take time to stop and smell the roses and live each day that God gives you to the fullest.
Very interesting cars and trucks. Loved the Studebaker Avanti when they came out but I think my pick would be the Dodge pickup today. Glad to hear you and Barbara are discovering interesting things to do.
