Places We Have Called Home In 2020

Home Is Where We Park It:  Kiva RV Park & Horse Motel

July 2, 2021

Temperature 94 Degrees

Nothing Shaking Today

Just a short note to say that there is nothing new today.

We were supposed to take a ride over to Pie Town but the stars didn’t line up in the right way so we stayed home.

I finished sanitizing the fresh water system and then drained the fresh water tank.  Tomorrow I’ll fill it again with fresh water only and then drain it one more time.

I spent some more time working on putting together our Tour America 2021.  It seems so far off and so many things are still unknown but one thing I’m finding out is the whole world seems to be going RV’ing.  That is, if the difficulty I’m finding in making reservations at various RV parks is any indication.

So here we are in July.  In one respect the year seemingly has flown by but then again in some respects it seems to be on hold.  We can only guess what the rest of the year will be like.  One thing is for sure, it is not going to be anything like we had originally planned.

That’s it for our day on The Road of Retirement.  Perhaps tomorrow we’ll have something more interesting to share with you.

In closing, my feelings exactly.

Image may contain: text that says 'Being married or committed to one person is a beautiful thing. Don't let these folks tell you a lie. Ain't nothing better then having a soulmate, best friend, lover, and protector.'

Thanks for stopping by today.  We always appreciate your company and your comments.  Catch you tomorrow.

These are the voyages of  Elvira and it’s two intrepid travelers.  Our continuing mission: to explore as many new states as possible, to seek out new acquaintances and make new friends, to boldly go where we have never been before.

See you on down the road!
