Back In Its Place

Goooooooooood Morning World!

Ah what a morning.  Once again overcast and cloudy.  But warm.  Though the forecast is for a big drop by Thursday night – like down into the 20’s!  Now where is my wool cap.

Ms Barbara made me another special breakfast this morning.  I had country fried steak with gravy. Plus, a glass of juice, a cup of mint ice coffee and I was in heaven.  I finished off both of the steaks in record time.

Can you see his beady little eyes just above the water?  This is our resident alligator who lives in Horseshoe Pond at the back of the park.  They tell me that he’s been there for quite a number of years.  As of now he is about ten feet long.  I’m going to continue to keep a respectable distance between him and me.

Once again it is back where it belongs.  Two techs from Lazydays arrived as promised today to finish the job.  Before they put it back in place they made sure the sides of the pan were at least two inches high; the seams were properly sealed; and, they ran water through the drain pipes while they pulled and tugged on them yet they never found a leak.  Once back in place they then ran over fifteen gallons of water through the machine and again no leaks.  I believe we are good.

That was our day on The Road of Retirement.  We did what we had to do and little else.  But that’s OK with us.  I did finish my latest book so now it is time to find and begin another.  Time to settle in for either Monday Night Football or a Hallmark Movie.  It all depends on who gets to the remote first!
